Greetings in the Name of the Lord Jesus.  I just returned from South Sudan and wanted to share the good news of the ministry trip.  The school of ministry was began at Agape Life University in the city of Juba and this is the first of its kind in that country.  The vision God gave us two years ago is bearing fruit both in western Kenya and now in Southern Sudan.  God is making the vision He gave us a reality in Africa.  The journey was tiresome after a 22 hours of flight and we were blessed to see many souls come to Jesus in that very first service.  Several people joined in the line for prayer and many of them testified of healing.  God still answers prayer!

The missionary school started on Monday morning with students from as far away as the Democratic Republic of Congo and Nebbe, Uganda as well as from other parts of Southern Sudan.  It was exciting to see the change in the lives of these students during the prayer and classes.  We began with prayer as our first lesson just after 6 a.m. and ending with an hour of prayer as the last lesson at 6 p.m. the days were long but the time spent there was priceless as we watched these students poured out their lives to the Lord in prayer and study.  We received several bibles some of these in Arabic bibles and were blessed to provide them to pastors of churches who did not have a bible or possess the gospel in their own language.  One of the brothers in the Lord did some quick calculations and said that if each of these students left the school and made disciples for Christ that each one could reach over 3,000 people with the gospel within one year of this first class. The possibilities of a life completely dedicated to the gospel is endless.  The reality of taking the gospel to Muslim countries in north Africa is going to take place, not because of anything special within us, but because that your heart cannot contain this Christ without Him totally consuming your life.  We have been asked to return for another school in February of 2012 so please keep us in your prayers.  Without your prayers and support this could never have been accomplished.  The impact on these lives cannot be described.

After 21 years of war between the Christians and the Muslims in that nation it is wonderful to go their to spread the healing love of Jesus Christ.  There are refugee camps every where in the city of Juba.  Some of the people there have no idea where their family is and where they came from in Sudan.  All they can tell you is that they were uprooted by the war and fled from the violence.  Many tell of the helicopters flying into the village with machine guns destroying their families and burning the huts as they fled from the murder of their loved ones.  They have not concept of who rescued them and how they arrived in Juba.  We were blessed to minister to these people and share the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Please pray for our return to Africa soon after the first of the year.  Thank you for your love, prayers, and support for this ongoing ministry in Africa.
